Tracy, our pre-school leader, has received a response from our Bristol Standard submission which was very positive and highlights some areas of good practice. Our 2nd interim targets need to be submitted in June 2012 and there will be a full review in June 2013. So far the staff have had two meetings regarding the Bristol Standard and they are all very positive and looking forward to implementing changes.

The Bristol Standard is a self-evaluation framework to help individual settings to improve on their previous best. It involves working together on developments to improve outcomes for all children and families and takes a year to complete.
