SRUF News 30th July 2026
We have had a lovely week picking blackberries at the cemetery, celebrating with Liz and dancing with Hayley from Happy Feet.
Next week the children will be choosing some of their favourite activities from the past year to re-visit, we will be making sandwiches and party hats and Dave will
be visiting with his animals!
Tuesday will be showtime, and a graduation ceremony for children moving onto school.
SRUF News 7th September 2026
This term we will be learning about shapes, colours and patterns, looking for different shapes, colours and patterns in the environment and noticing and exploring how we can change colours by mixing them or using different lights and how shapes and patterns can change by moving and adding new pieces.
We will also be watching the changes the new season brings and building new friendships.
Next week we will be sharing 'The Hungry Caterpillar' story.
We will be cutting green circles to create caterpillars, exploring different fruits that the caterpillar ate and using shapes, patterns and mixing colours to create butterflies.
Next weeks letter and sound is 'C'.
